What if I know of someone who would make
a good bishop? How do I submit their name?
Please send them to our website (www.mnbishopsearch.org) and encourage them to submit an application by February 18, 2009.

The salary range for the new bishop is between $100,000 and $140,000.

After the announcing of bishop candidates on August 1, what if I think someone would make a good Bishop who doesn’t show up on that list?
There is a process, voted on by the 2008 Diocesan Convention, for open nominations. The dates open nominations will be accepted are August 1 – 14. All open nominations will need to have the same Oxford Document background screening as other candidates, and that takes some time. Announcement of any open nominees will take place September 25.
